Upcycled Lego Container

How to Make a Lego Block Container

Ingredients:

Any large plastic container

Yellow acrylic paint

Black Acrylic Paint

White Acrylic Paint

Red Acrylic Paint

Paint brushes

Some Goo Be Gone

(or what I use: a tablespoon of baking soda and a tablespoon of olive oil mashed into a paste, rubbed on and left to sit, works the same as Goo Be Gone)

2 babies to do the painting and with that the patience of a Saint

First eat up allllll ya cheese balls and clean that container out, then use your Goo Be Gone and

get that label off.  Peel as much as you can off yourself though.

Then prepare these babies with all the paint

This makes a perfect craft and time consuming activity.  The mess that ensues is nothing short of stroke inducing, so please prepare yourself

Once they have exhausted the messiness of paint,
you'll have to detail that jug a bit

and put a few more coats on of the yellow acrylic paint.

Once that has dried, overnight, the next day sketch out your chosen face.

We chose the girl face, so that why we needed the red paint! For the juicy lips!

I used a felt marker to outline the face, something light in color, incase I had to paint over it.

And there you have it! You have a storage bin for Legos or Duplos and you're recyling!

You can print the faces out and use them as a type of template but I've no time for that!
