Swedish Meatballs

💣Swedish meatballs are the bomb.com and so easy.  I made this with the single, solitary, sense memory of Christmas and shopping at IKEA with my mom.  They didnt taste quite like IKEA's but in my defense I'm fresh out of ligionberry jam.


Soooo why dont we make some swedish meatballs for dinner?
Its stupid easy..

Ingredients:

1 pkg, 1 to 1 1/2 pds ground meat, uh duh
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp parsley
1 tsp nutmeg 
1 tsp allspice
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp worcestershire
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1/2 chopped onion 
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 cups beef broth
butter 
olive oil
flour
1 egg

In medium sized bowl combine ground beef, panko, parsley, all spicee, nutmeg, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper and egg. Mix till combined.


  
Roll into 12 large meatballs or 20 small meatballs. In a large skillet heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter.

 Add the meatballs and cook turning continuously until brown on each side and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil.




DO NOT SUB OUT THE HEAVY CREAM FOR HALF N HALF OR MILK OR SOMETHING, IT MIGHT SEPERATE, LISTEN TO YOU FRIEND BILLY ZANE 

In the same skillet add 4 Tablespoons butter and flour and whisk till it turns brown. Slowly stir in beef broth and heavy cream. Add the worcestershire sauce and mustard and bring to a simmer till it starts to thicken.



Add the meatballs back to the skillet and simmer for another 1-2 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
