French Dip Slammich
One easy way to french the hail outta that dip:
Ingredients:
boars head roast beef
provolone cheesey
demi-baguette
Garlic
For da jus:
1 tbsp Flour
2 cups Beef broth
3 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp dry sherry
Method:
Preheat oven to 350
Slice up your baguettes and mix 1 tbsp butter with garlic and brush it on your bread.
Pile that sumbitch with meat and cheese and pop her in the oven.
The au jus:
2 tbsp of butter in sauce pan
Melt it
Add flour and whisk
Then add your sherry
Whisk and until the flour roux is mixed in
Add broth
Whiskers and serve!
I used two ramekins that I believe I accidentally (intentionally) stole from a restaurant. Serve your au jus in just such a stolen ramekin with french fries on the side. The way to get your french fries nice and golden brown is to buy them from the Sheetz on your way home from the Shop N Save.
